A single right bracket grouped the 25-28 entries so the text is to be read together even as it’s on different days. “Still no news/I think of you/often. Time passes/quickly. This page is the abrupt end of entries for Peter’s first diary. Peter believes that Daniel Trocme saw it and confiscated it because it contained too many names of people and locations and some of it was even written in German.

The U.G.I.F. now sends me 300 francs every month. Mr. T. however takes them.

I [wrote] Mr. Brem. & Willie, the U.G.I.F.

Sunday 24:
N.N. . We are going sledding because we have two sleds here.
