Peter Feigl’s Diaries

In the afternoon we went down La Capelette road into the small woods. I had a ball, however, I went into the water and my feet are still wet. Other than that I was rather bored. Since Tuesday we are all required to fold our sheets, blankets and make up our bed at 1 pm only. Slave labor! Fortunately I found a gimmick. The weather is great today. Arrival of spring is none too soon.

Friday 17. 3

I got my math grades today (8th, 12.5). Many guys are saying that our summer vacation will start around the 1st of May. It’s possible because this afternoon Germans came to look over the Collège. It seems they want to use it as a hospital.

Saturday 18. 3

I went to the movie and saw at the Rex: “The Beautiful Star” with Fernandel and at the Family: “The White Patrol” with Sessue Hayakawa. I already saw it in Marseille.
