Peter Feigl’s Diaries

Tuesday 23 May 1944

Interrogations all day long. (Police, photos, doctor, etc …) In the evening after dinner (7 p.m.) I left with a lady and her 2 children and another young man. We are rid of the kikes31 who are sent elsewhere. It is said that the camp is the best of all camps.

Wednesday 24 May

I went to see the commanding officer. He asked me questions.

From Thursday 25 to Tuesday 30 May

Nothing special, camp life – we eat well. I wrote to Mr. Gersonde . Yesterday I got 2 francs 50 [cents] plus a collection that was taken up for me. I received my bank account today.

Wednesday 1 June

Replied to the bank.

Thursday 2 June

Put in contact with Father (abbey) Berthier.
