Peter Feigl’s Diaries

Sunday 13.2

I feel good again this morning. After going to mass, at 10 o’clock I went to the youth center at Chef Delbos Square. (It’s for teams being organized for Saturday’s arrival of refugees.) In theory, the refugees are to arrive here on Tuesday the 15th. That happens to be market day (what a great mess that’s going to be). I got back about 11:15. After lunch, I went to the ice shop (café) with Durand and Benne. I read a newspaper. Then around 2 o’clock I went to the movies: at the Rex. “Snow on the Steps” by Henry Bordeau and at the Vox, I again saw: “Salvator Rosa, The Black Mask” which I had seen in Marseille about 1 and 1/2 years ago. We got back on time.

Monday 14. 2

Mr. Pujolle is back and therefore we had geography class. This afternoon we had only singing class and we had a lot of fun. The refugees are due to arrive tomorrow morning. In English class I rank 1st and together with Verilhac have a grade of 16.5/20.

Tuesday 15. 2

The refugees did not come. We had class.

Wednesday 16.2

It appears that the refugees will come tomorrow. It won’t be any too soon. Tomorrow the Collége will be playing football against the Rodez Lycée.
