I’m on restriction with Tarcali for Sunday and Monday. I read “Winged War of the Future.”
Sunday 30 April
On restriction, we went near the stream. I built a dam with Durand.
Monday May 1st: Labor Day
We went to the football game on restriction. The Collège played against the 1st [team] of Figeac. The Collège won 3 to 2. I read another batch of books.
Tuesday 2 May 1944
Nothing special. There was an air raid during the night.
Wednesday 3 May 1944
An airplane flew overhead.
Thursday 4 May
I saw another airplane. I went out in the afternoon. I received the letter informing me that I’ll probably be leaving.
Friday 5 May
The senior dormitory and the 4th went to a Mozart music recital. We came back at 11 o’clock. There was an alert during the night. I went to the barber. We have a new monitor Mr. Pierre = A pill.
