Wednesday 16 September:
Nothing. I have already been here for 2 months. Other children arrived today. I hope you are well?
Thursday:17:
This morning Mrs. Cavailhon received a telegram from Vichy to the effect that everything was arranged for me and all those in similar circumstances. She and I are pleased.
Friday 18:
Nothing. This evening, during dinner, I was sent to bed. Again the gendarmes. The telegram is of no interest to them. They want an official document or alternatively a medical certificate within 48 hours saying that I still cannot be moved. I was scared and thought of you. They left again.
Saturday 19:
Nothing. No news. Together with the older ones I organized a party for the counselors to show appreciation for what they are doing for us. It was nice (plays, skits, cheers, etc.). I thought of you often.
